One in seven couples experience fertility issues. There can be many factors involved. Often I see women who are desperate to understand why they are not conceiving or why they have had several failed IVF attempts. You may feel you have exhausted all medical tests and procedures without answers. Acupuncture may help.
Have you or your partner experienced any of the following..
Acupuncture and the theory of Chinese medicine has proven therapeutic benefits for those trying to conceive, a claim supported by the World Health Organisation. Furthermore research has evidenced significantly better pregnancy rates for those who had acupuncture alongside IVF as against those who had IVF alone. *
The World Health Organisation also supports the use of acupuncture for morning sickness, and turning a breach baby.
At your first appointment there will be a consultation lasting up to 2 hours during this session Anna will take a full case history, to understand your individual treatment needs. Most women are asked to fill in a BBT chart (Basal Body Temperature) to identify any hormonal problems that could be hindering conception. Acupuncture treatment is then tailored to the individual’s menstrual cycle aiming to address any presenting problem.
